Album Notes & Community Reviews

Abandoning their earlier, heavier symphonic structures, the Dutch ensemble embraced a highly synthesized, undeniably commercial pop sound on 'Reality Fills Fantasy'. The album was catapulted to massive European success by the infectious, disco-tinged smash hit 'Weekend'. It serves as a defining example of a classic progressive rock group successfully pivoting toward the highly polished pop-rock aesthetics of the 1980s.
