Album Notes & Community Reviews

Transitioning from their psychedelic pop origins, the Dutch ensemble delivered a definitive masterpiece of early European symphonic rock. Dominated by Gerard Koerts' sweeping Mellotron arrangements and Jerney Kaagman's powerful, dramatic lead vocals, the album's centerpiece is the sprawling, side-long title track. It successfully balanced classical ambition with memorable, pop-oriented vocal hooks.
