Dylan Carlson reinvented Earth's sound with this clean, country-influenced drone album. Inspired by Cormac McCarthy's 'Blood Meridian', the music evokes the vast, empty landscapes of the American West. It is a slow, meditative masterpiece of ambient Americana.
