Album Notes & Community Reviews

Dylan Carlson's drone-metal pioneers unexpectedly return to the heavy, distorted aesthetics of their early 1990s origins while retaining the deliberate, cinematic pacing of their Americana era. Notably, the album breaks their long-standing instrumental format by prominently featuring guest vocalists Mark Lanegan and Rabia Shaheen Qazi on several sprawling, meditative tracks.
