Album Notes & Community Reviews
Conceived during a period of deep isolation and personal healing, 'Blue Morpho' is the absorbing second solo album from Radiohead guitarist Ed O'Brien. Produced alongside Paul Epworth and Riley MacIntyre at Church Studios, the record blends tranquil, acoustic psych-folk with sweeping orchestral string arrangements and ambient electronic textures. Featuring contributions from Dave Okumu, Philip Selway, and the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra, the compositions evoke a quiet, meditative beauty heavily inspired by the Welsh countryside.
