Album Notes & Community Reviews

The follow-up to his debut, 'Black Rhythm Happening' is another powerful and joyous expression of community and spirituality from trumpeter Eddie Gale. The music is a vibrant blend of free-form improvisation, soulful vocal chants, and deep, Afro-centric grooves, a key document of the late-60s spiritual jazz movement on Blue Note.
