Album Notes & Community Reviews
Transitioning to Blue Note Records, trumpeter Eddie Henderson recruited synthesizer pioneer George Duke to help sculpt the cosmic, heavily electrified soundscape of 'Sunburst'. The album features Henderson鈥檚 heavily effected trumpet lines slicing through incredibly dense, psychedelic jazz-funk grooves, firmly establishing it as a masterpiece of space-age fusion.
