Album Notes & Community Reviews
The debut solo album from Tangerine Dream founder Edgar Froese acts as a crucial bridge in the development of the Berlin School electronic sound. The album famously utilizes the pioneering 'Kunstkopf' (artificial head) binaural recording technique, specifically on field recordings of water and aircraft, to construct deeply immersive, spatial soundscapes.
