Album Notes & Community Reviews

Conceived as a brilliant conceptual adaptation of the Pinocchio fairy tale, 'Burattino senza fili' serves as a biting acoustic critique of the Italian music industry and modern society. Edoardo Bennato blends energetic pop-rock arrangements with his signature folk-troubadour vocal style and kazoo playing. The passionately crafted record achieved massive commercial success while cementing his legacy as a deeply poetic subversive.
