Album Notes & Community Reviews
A deeply challenging and personal concept album, 'Body of Work' is an avant-garde deconstruction of hip-hop that explores the artist's mental health, trauma, and disillusionment with the entertainment industry. The record is a surreal and desolate sound collage, blending the ethereal textures of ambient plugg with dissonant, noisy, and glitchy production. Over this fragmented backdrop, Edward Skeletrix delivers raw, stream-of-consciousness verses in a deadpan, lethargic style, creating a powerful and disturbing work of modern experimental music.
