Album Notes & Community Reviews

Celebrating their fortieth anniversary, the legendary industrial pioneers deliver a remarkably subdued, poetic meditation focused entirely on their native Berlin. Stripping away the chaotic scrap-metal percussion of their youth, the arrangements rely heavily on subtle string sections, custom-built minimalist instruments, and Blixa Bargeld's evocative, spoken-word storytelling. It is an elegant, highly mature reflection on history, memory, and the passing of time.
