Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut full-length by Sacramento trio Electro Group, Tim Jacobson, Ian Hernandez and Matt Hull, a band since 1994, 'A New Pacifica' collects fifteen short tracks of shoegaze and noise pop. Thick layers of fuzzed bass and distorted guitar carry semi-buried vocals, with the songs' brevity and direct drumming giving the record its punk economy.
