Album Notes & Community Reviews

For the final studio album by the supergroup consisting of Bernard Sumner and Johnny Marr, the duo noticeably updated their approach to alternative dance. Co-produced by Arthur Baker, 'Twisted Tenderness' heavily incorporates contemporary electronic beats and remarkably prominent, heavily distorted guitar riffs, abandoning the pristine synthpop of their early work.
