Album Notes & Community Reviews

The veteran German progressive act modernizes their sweeping, cosmic sound for the 1980s, fully integrating polished synthesizers and concise song structures. 'Performance' retains their signature space-rock thematic elements but heavily incorporates the melodic, radio-friendly gloss of AOR. The stylistic pivot proved highly divisive among purists of their 1970s conceptual epics.
