Album Notes & Community Reviews

Reflecting the heavily synthesized aesthetic of the era, the veteran German progressive act incorporated a sleek, commercial sound for this concept album. The narrative follows a futuristic, science-fiction storyline imbued with optimistic themes of spiritual awakening. While it alienated some early purists due to its reliance on drum programming and synthpop textures, it maintains the band's penchant for atmospheric and triumphant arrangements.
