Album Notes & Community Reviews
Former Soft Machine saxophonist Elton Dean led a powerhouse ensemble for 'Boundaries', an exceptional document of British avant-garde jazz. Featuring Keith Tippett on piano, the quintet navigates highly complex, dissonant structures that seamlessly transition into furious, unrestrained free improvisation. The album is a vital testament to the enduring creative fire of the Canterbury Scene's jazz alumni.
