Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded during a period of massive creative resurgence, this nineteenth studio album saw the legendary pianist fully embracing the polished, synthesizer-heavy production values of the 1980s. 'Ice on Fire' features a pronounced emphasis on upbeat, radio-friendly pop and features significant contributions from George Michael, most notably on the massive hit 'Nikita.' The slick, highly commercial approach successfully re-established his dominance on the international pop charts.
