Victim of Love

by Elton John

Attempting to capitalize on the massive commercial dominance of late-70s dance music, the legendary singer-songwriter delivered a pure, unrelenting disco album. Notably, it is the only record in his extensive catalog where he neither wrote any of the material nor played the piano, serving purely as a vocalist over Pete Bellotte's Munich-style synthesized productions. It was critically savaged upon release and remains a notoriously bizarre anomaly in his discography.
