Album Notes & Community Reviews

The sophomore breakthrough from the Swiss octet seamlessly integrates traditional Celtic instrumentation鈥攊ncluding hurdy-gurdies, flutes, and bagpipes鈥攊nto the aggressive framework of Gothenburg-style melodic death metal. Chrigel Glanzmann's harsh vocals drive anthemic, historically themed tracks that popularized the band across the global metal festival circuit. It remains a foundational, highly polished classic of the European folk metal movement.
