Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Swiss octet pioneers the New Wave of Folk Metal by flawlessly integrating traditional instruments like the hurdy-gurdy, tin whistles, and bagpipes into a relentless death metal framework. The lyrics frequently utilize the extinct Gaulish language, steeped deeply in Celtic mythology. It successfully bridges the gap between historical folklore and extreme heavy metal.
