Album Notes & Community Reviews

Packing an astonishing 20 tracks onto a single LP, Elvis Costello pivoted heavily toward incredibly fast, 1960s-inspired R&B and Motown rhythms on 'Get Happy!!'. The album is a fiercely energetic, brilliantly melodic barrage of blue-eyed soul and power pop, underscoring his trademark sarcastic, deeply anxious lyricism regarding romantic collapse.
