Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in Oxford, Mississippi, this conceptually loose album sees Costello returning to a rootsier, Southern-inflected rock and roll sound. Backed powerfully by The Imposters and featuring notable guest vocals from Emmylou Harris and Lucinda Williams, the record embraces twangy country-rock and raw, organ-driven blues storytelling.
