Embryo's Rache

Album Notes & Community Reviews

As the Munich-based collective began to incorporate more disparate global influences and brass-heavy jazz improvisation, this album captured their transition toward a more expansive jazz-rock fusion. The tracks are characteristically loose and jam-oriented, favoring vibrant, polyrhythmic grooves and interplay over rigid song structure. It stands as a definitive document of the more soulful, exploratory side of the early 70s Krautrock scene.
