Album Notes & Community Reviews
The third album by the Munich-based collective sees them deepening their exploration of cross-cultural musical fusion. Grounded by Christian Burchard's muscular drumming and Edgar Hofmann's spiraling saxophone and violin, the extended improvisations blend fiery jazz-rock with prominent Middle Eastern and North African musical motifs. It is a vital early example of world-jazz experimentation emerging from the German rock underground.
