Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Surfin'' represents Embryo at their most accessible, steering their historically dense krautrock foundation into highly groovy, jazz-funk territories. The record benefits immensely from the muscular bass work of Roman Bunka and Christian Burchard鈥檚 intricate vibraphone playing, resulting in a remarkably warm, summer-infused fusion jam.
