Markus Stock's project debuted with a deeply romantic, nature-worshipping fusion of melancholic doom and traditional folk instrumentation. The highly atmospheric compositions heavily utilize acoustic guitars, sweeping flutes, and sorrowful keyboard melodies, completely overshadowing the sparse black metal elements. It established a distinctively mournful, pastoral aesthetic that became highly influential within the German dark metal scene.
