Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut album from the St Albans quartet, 'Take to the Skies' was a landmark release for the UK rock scene, pioneering the electronicore sound by fusing post-hardcore aggression with elements of trance and drum and bass. Funded and recorded by the band themselves, its grassroots success demonstrated the power of internet promotion in the mid-2000s. The record's blend of political lyricism, harsh vocals, and euphoric synth breakdowns established the band's signature eclectic style.
