Album Notes & Community Reviews

Crucially expanding the highly aggressive Norwegian black metal template into mainland Europe, Belgium's Enthroned deliver a blistering, relentlessly fast-paced debut with 'Prophecies of Pagan Fire'. The album firmly relies on terrifyingly high-speed tremolo riffing and Lord Sabathan's vicious vocal delivery, notably punctuated by brief, highly atmospheric acoustic passages and subtle synthesizer use. It securely established the band as fearsome, highly respected purveyors of aggressive satanic metal.
