Album Notes & Community Reviews

Composed specifically as the soundtrack for the Dutch film *Joyride*, 'The Score: An Epic Journey' acts as a grandiose orchestral departure for the symphonic metal titans. The project is almost entirely instrumental, focusing purely on cinematic classical composition rather than their traditional heavy rock instrumentation. It brilliantly demonstrates the band's legitimate, classically trained musicality outside the confines of extreme metal.
