Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in Germany, 'Darkness - Darkness' finds the former Animals frontman continuing his lifelong dedication to gritty blues and R&B. The record highlights Burdon's weathered, commanding vocals interpreting both original compositions and classic covers. He is surrounded by a robust, horn-accented rock arrangement that firmly grounds the album in a traditional, road-tested sound.
