Album Notes & Community Reviews
Emerging from a devastating period of heroin addiction, Eric Clapton completely reinvented his sound with a wonderfully laid-back, remarkably commercially successful comeback. '461 Ocean Boulevard' is a profoundly mellow, deeply peaceful blues-rock and tropical rock classic, highlighted by his iconic cover of 'I Shot the Sheriff' and incredibly warm, highly melodic summer grooves.
