Album Notes & Community Reviews
Earning its title from the guitarist's famous nickname, 'Slowhand' is a masterfully relaxed, incredibly commercially successful foray into warm, country-tinged blues rock. Eric Clapton balances laid-back, profoundly mellow acoustic roots with iconic, fiercely energetic electric leads, resulting in beautifully romantic, highly melodic rock staples like 'Wonderful Tonight'.
