Album Notes & Community Reviews

Erik Truffaz's 'Mantis' extends the French trumpeter's nu jazz method, placing his Miles Davis-inflected lines over electronic grooves and dub-derived space. The album deepened his dialogue with the London broken beat and drum and bass scenes.
