Cure

Album Notes & Community Reviews

On their sixth studio album, Cure, Erra refines their progressive metalcore formula into a potent and dynamic form. Produced by Daniel Braunstein and integrating new guitarist Clint Tustin, the record juxtaposes technically labyrinthine guitar work and concussive rhythms against vast, atmospheric soundscapes and Jesse Cash’s anthemic clean vocals. This sonic duality underscores the album’s thematic exploration of psychological struggle and catharsis. A confident evolution, Cure balances intricate, forward-thinking musicianship with powerful, memorable songwriting, solidifying the band’s status as a formidable force within the genre.
