Album Notes & Community Reviews

Showcasing a highly idiosyncratic approach to the piano, this collection highlights an orchestral style defined by steady left-hand rhythms and slightly delayed right-hand melodies. The improvisations bounce between traditional stride techniques and modern bop phrasing with fluid ease. The record solidified the pianist's reputation as a masterful and endlessly inventive solo performer.
