Half of the influential drone duo Barn Owl, the Brooklyn-based experimentalist processes the anxiety and decay of modern urban living through this solo electronic endeavor. The tracking radically warps field recordings of the New York City environment, filtering them through heavy distortion and analog synthesizer pulses to create suffocating, beatless post-industrial atmospheres. The conceptual project acts as a bleak sonic mirror reflecting a poisoned, hyper-capitalist cityscape.
