Album Notes & Community Reviews

Signaling a controversial sonic shift, the legendary Bay Area pioneers slowed their traditional tempos to embrace a crushing, groove-oriented approach. 'Force of Habit' incorporates heavier bass lines and diverse stylistic departures, stepping away from the frantic speed of their earlier masterpieces. The album would ultimately be their final studio effort before a long hiatus in the 1990s.
