Album Notes & Community Reviews

The third and ultimately final album from Charlie Looker's New York avant-garde ensemble pushes their uniquely disturbing sound to its absolute limits. The record violently clashes highly complex, mathematical math-rock rhythms with incredibly tense string arrangements and Looker's unnerving, Gregorian-chant-inspired vocal deliveries. It serves as an incredibly demanding, deeply cerebral exploration of medieval choral aesthetics aggressively forced through the lens of modern brutal prog.
