Biography
Extra Life is a Brooklyn experimental band led by Charlie Looker, mixing medieval-inspired melismatic singing with math rock, progressive rock and avant-pop. After 'Secular Works', 'Made Flesh' and 'Dream Seeds', the band split in 2012, then reunited in 2022 for 'Secular Works Vol. 2' and returned again with 'The Sacred Vowel' in 2024, extending their singular, ritualistic and uncompromising musical language further still.
