Album Notes & Community Reviews

Charlie Looker's reformed avant-prog collective delivers an incredibly dense, highly anxious fusion of complex math rock and deeply historical Ars nova choral aesthetics. The sprawling, post-rock-adjacent instrumentation is constantly derailed by uncommon time signatures and profoundly existential, abstract vocal melodies. It stands as a brilliantly quirky, darkly melancholic triumph of modern experimental rock.
