Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following their historic Mercury Prize win, the London quintet delivers an explosively energetic, brilliantly uplifting celebration of modern jazz-funk and global dance rhythms. Seamlessly integrating the polyrhythms of Afrobeat and the infectious sway of Latin jazz, the highly rhythmic instrumental improvisations project an incredibly warm and lush party atmosphere. It is a masterfully played, joyously uninhibited triumph of contemporary UK jazz.
