Biography
Ezra Collective is a five-piece jazz band from London, formed in 2012. Drummer Femi Koleoso, bassist TJ Koleoso, keyboardist Joe Armon-Jones and saxophonist James Mollison are joined by trumpeter Ife Ogunjobi, who replaced Dylan Jones. Their joyful blend of jazz, Afrobeat and hip-hop made them leaders of the new UK jazz movement, and in 2023 their album 'Where I'm Meant to Be' became the first jazz winner of the Mercury Prize.
