Album Notes & Community Reviews

Delivering their fourth album in as many years, the Chicago-based trio constructs a claustrophobic, rhythm-heavy interpretation of post-punk. 'Present Tense' relies heavily on the menacing, tribal drum patterns of Noah Leger and Brian Case's deadpan, cryptic vocal delivery. The project creates a hypnotic, deeply tense atmosphere built on angular guitar discord and stark minimalism.
