Album Notes & Community Reviews

Chicago noise-rock trio FACS embraces a suffocatingly tense, rhythmically driven approach on their fifth album. 'Still Life in Decay' relies on incredibly tight, metallic basslines and jarring, abstract guitar textures to create an atmosphere of immense urban paranoia. The record is a dark, hypnotic masterclass in using musical restraint and silence to amplify feelings of dread.
