Album Notes & Community Reviews

A classic release from the long-running Seattle band, 'Very, Very Powerful Motor' is an exuberant collection of high-energy power pop and punk rock. Led by the dual vocals of Kim Warnick and Lulu Gargiulo and the singular guitar work of Kurt Bloch, the album is overflowing with buzzsaw riffs and infectious melodies. It stands as a prime example of the band's influential sound, which predated and inspired many Sub Pop-era groups.
