Biography
Seattle pop-punk band formed in 1979 by Kurt Bloch, Kim Warnick and Lulu Gargiulo, with drummer Mike Musburger completing the long-term line-up from 1992. Fastbacks combined punk speed with sharp pop melody on #PopLlama# and #Sub Pop# albums including 'Zücker' and 'New Mansions in Sound', split in 2001, and returned with 'For WHAT Reason!' in 2024. Their songs remain staples of Seattle's enduring independent punk and pop underground scene.
