Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the breakout release for the Atlanta rapper and producer, 'Young Hot Ebony' established the distinctively sluggish, minimalist sound of the Awful Records collective. The record leans into sparse, bass-heavy production and deadpan, hedonistic lyricism, most notably on the viral hit 'Look at Wrist'. It stands as a highly influential foundational text for the underground SoundCloud rap movement.
