Album Notes & Community Reviews
Navigating the sudden departure of frontman Peter Hein, the crucial Neue Deutsche Welle outfit heavily shifts their post-punk origins into sleek, highly polished mutant funk. Despite the polished commercial production and complex rhythmic interplay, the album struggled to replicate the intense, lightning-in-a-bottle cultural impact of their legendary debut.
