Fehlfarben
- Type: Band/Group
- Country: Germany
- Born: Germany
- Active: 1979–present
Biography
Düsseldorf band formed in 1979 by ex-members of punk group *Mittagspause*, and a cornerstone of Neue Deutsche Welle. Fehlfarben's debut 'Monarchie und Alltag' (1980) is a landmark German-language rock album, and its single 'Ein Jahr (Es geht voran)' an unlikely hit. Singer Peter Hein left in 1981, guitarist Thomas Schwebel fronted two further albums, and the band split in 1984. Hein returned for reunions that produced 'Die Platte des himmlischen Friedens' (1991) and a steady run of later albums on #Tapete Records#, including '?0??' (2022).
