Album Notes & Community Reviews
A masterclass in fiercely uncompromising political defiance, 'No Agreement' finds Fela Kuti doubling down on his rhythmic rebellion against the Nigerian military establishment. Featuring an iconic guest trumpet solo from Lester Bowie, the album is a profoundly hypnotic, remarkably warm afrobeat groove built upon intensely repetitive, wonderfully raw jazz-funk percussion.
